About East City Futsal

East City Futsal is the longest established club in New Zealand and is home to the game of FIFA 5 a-side indoor soccer – Futsal – a great fitness and skill builder, played by boys, girls, women and men of all ages.  We cater for age groups from 9 year olds to masters (over 30 year olds) male or female. 

East City is the current holder of the NZ Senior Men’s Championship having won the title in Wellington in December 2009.

East City is the largest registered Futsal Club in New Zealand established in 1982 and becoming an incorporated society in 1987 and is run by a volunteer committee.    The fantastic advantage about Futsal Indoor Soccer is it’s never rained out or weather dependant and at the same venue – no cancellations!   Referees are supplied for each game.

All leagues are currently run at the ASB Stadium, Kohimarama, Auckland on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday depending on what night your grade plays.  The club runs three leagues per annum – Summer (starts February), Winter (starts June) for senior and masters only and Spring (starts September).

East City is the only club with a premier division played on a full international court (the whole width and length of the ASB Stadium), plus we currently have over 30 Senior B teams, 30 youth teams  and 12 masters teams playing their games on half courts.
